Yes, it's free to download. Every child starts with 5 free cookies, and each chat with Santa uses 1 cookie. The advent door gives 1 more free cookie every day. Extra cookie packs are optional one-off purchases. There are no subscriptions and no ads.
Can my child call Santa?
Yes! Open the app and press Talk to Santa. Your child can say anything they like, and Santa will listen and reply out loud in his own jolly voice. They can ask him about his reindeer, tell him what's on their wish list, or just say hello. Santa loves hearing from children every day.
What age is it for?
It's rated 4+ on the App Store and designed for young children, roughly ages 3 to 8. Santa's replies are kept to one or two short, simple sentences so they're easy to follow. Younger children will enjoy it most with a grown-up nearby.
Is it safe for my child?
Santa is instructed to stay warm, gentle and child-friendly, keep replies very short, and never promise specific gifts, so there are no awkward moments on Christmas morning. There are no ads, no chatting with other people, and no account or sign-up. All purchases sit behind a grown-up maths question, so children can't buy cookies on their own.
How does Santa reply so quickly?
Santa has been chatting with children for hundreds of years, so he's a real expert, and he simply can't wait to hear what your child has to say! He listens carefully and replies in his own jolly voice. Ho ho ho!
What are cookies, and what happens when they run out?
